I have a masters degree in anthropology. My thesis was in the areas of archaeology and comparisons of field data to ethnographic data. During my education I earned the distinction of the Lamda Alpha Honors Society. I have taught archaeological field methods both at the University of Iowa and while a project archaeologist at the Office of the State Archaeologist. I also taught as an assistant for biological anthropology coursework. I have submitted many thousand projects to the State Historic Preservation Office for Archaeology, Architectural History, and History. I have four years FTE experience in a community development department working on U.S. Housing and Urban Development programs.
